Ed is a health and social care entrepreneur and active philanthropist. A qualified social care professional, Ed has over 20 years in organisational management and social care service set up. Ed has been instrumental in the setup of several social enterprise projects. Ed founded Nua Healthcare, now the largest private residential care provider in Ireland, in 2004. The organisation now provides accommodation and care to over 600 persons with complex care requirements and employs over 1500 people. Ed departed from Nua in 2020 and is leading out the development of Dídean’s services across Ireland.

Edward Dunne, CEO

Colleen is a qualified social care professional with extensive experience in social care operations, compliance and social care management. Colleen has developed and implemented workplace and organisational change across Intellectual Disability, Mental Health and Supported Living Services to ensure compliance with regulations and national standards. Colleen is also qualified in the area of Psychology, Data Protection, Business Management and Health and safety. Colleen brings a wealth of experience having previously held a lead management position in a large award-winning healthcare organisation.

Fiona is a senior finance professional and business advisor with over fifteen years of experience in large organisations. She has held senior executive positions in various organisations; Finance Director of Carroll’s of Tullamore, Ireland’s largest chilled food manufacture in Ireland. Fiona is a fellow Chartered Accountant.

Fiona Delaney, Chief Financial Officer

Fiona is a Human Resources and Payroll Manager accredited with a BA in Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Payroll Techniques (CPT). Fiona’s experience ranges from deputy store manager to HR & Payroll Graduate in a large multi - national retail chain for over a decade and a human resource and payroll manger in the FMCG manufacturing industry for over 7 years. Her vast experience in diverse workplaces has provided Fiona with the drive, knowledge and understanding of how to create a productive, inclusive, and social just workforce to best serve Dídean’s goals of Direct Provision reform in Ireland.

Fiona Lawless, HR and Compliance Manager

Helena is a qualified social care professional with a further qualification in People Management. Helena has played a key role in the growth of our Laois office and has advanced in the company from Social Care Leader to Assessment and Admissions Manager. Prior to Dídean, Helena worked for one of Ireland's largest social care providers, striving to empower the residents to live independently, participate in their community and live fulfilled lives. She has over ten years experience with the Department of Education, employed in the special needs sector specialising with young adults presenting with challenging behaviour.

Dr. Margaret Wasz, PhD Psychotherapy, an MPhil Psychoanalytical Studies, an MA Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy, Diploma in Psychology, a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and in RO-DBT, Accredited Family Mediator, Training in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Emotion Tolerance Skills

Dr. Margaret Wasz, Psychotherapist

Lye is an experienced advocate for building the change needed in the area of Direct Provision and has extensive experience in the setting up of philanthropic change driven programs in the MEA and at home in Ireland. Prior to Dídean, he was Portfolio Manager EMEA at The One Foundation where he led change driven innovation programs in Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Colombia and the Mediterranean. Lye is Ex-DP and an IVLP alumni (Regional Response to Refugee and Migration Issues), the U.S. Department of State‘s professional exchange program.
