Dídean provides a trauma informed, social care alternative for vulnerable families in the international protection system

Our service model is aligned with the EU Migration and Asylum Pact, the Standard Needs service specification set out in Ireland's National Implementation Plan, and the State's continued direction toward community-based, integration-led accommodation for international protection applicants with special reception needs.

Specialist Social Care Service

Dídean is a trauma-informed social care service, not solely an accommodation provider. Our social care team focuses on proactive integration during placement and supported transition into independent life once status is granted. Every resident has a social care-led Individual Integration Plan from the point of admission, with dedicated case management throughout the status decision process and into onward transition.

Our Philosophy

We focus on the assessed needs of every resident. Our care model is person-centred, family-focused and trauma-informed, with residents actively involved in decisions about their integration journey and their onward move-on into independent life.

Our Commitment To Quality

Dídean centres have been subject to independent inspection by HIQA — the State's Health Information and Quality Authority — and by IPAS itself. Inspections have consistently found Dídean centres to be well-managed, resident-focused, and operating to a high standard.
